Gorillaz’s spooky-fun hit single “Clint Eastwood” is his latest rework, appearing on the upcoming solo album Traveler, due October 16th via Rubber Jungle Records/ATO Records. Via Consequence of SoundĪs any Phish fan will gladly tell you, Trey Anastasio is no stranger to the imaginative cover. Kinda like the famously mis-labeled Phish “Gin and Juice” cover (that was actually recorded by The Gourds). I imagine if Kazaa or Napster were still going strong, this woulda been a top-listing hit. ![]() A well-crafted cover can have the big effect of gaining some new fans and this new take on the 2001 tune is pretty sporty indeed.
